Farouk Daku Malingumu is a talented boxer from Uganda who has inspired many of his fellow boxers to pursue their dreams in the Netherlands. His impressive track record boasts of numerous titles, including three-time East and Central African champion. Daku has taken his skills worldwide.

He won the WBF Florida USA world titel, WBU (Germany Version) intercontinentale, ABU African Champion

Born in Arua 1985, Daku started his boxing career in 1997 at SCOULS before turning professional in 2005. He has had many career highs, including a win over Tanzanian Siad Mbelwa in Nairobi for the World Boxing Union fight. He also bested Ibrahim Tamba and Tanzanian Oswald Maneno, who had previously defeated Godfrey Nyakana.
